After graduating in fashion design and fashion draw and a first experience in the tailored garment, she decided to develop her own way of working the tissue outside the box of the straight cut to move towards a lingerie that no longer follows the weft of the tissue but the female curve: waist is marked, the lines are followed and the garment fits the morphology and even its changes without unsightly: the bias cut. Willing to work fine materials, Liliana Casanova develops a collection of lingerie made of chiffon and silk satins from Lyon, inlaid french lace from Calais and Chantilly.
Silk is a delicate and difficult material to work. Each piece is created one by one by hand with a generous range of tissue and carefully worked as in luxury clothing.
Her inspiration, drawn from old detective movies and fictions of the best years, the fine lace and delicate inlays on pure and luxury silk are now globally recognized and sought after.

Liliana Casanova grew up in fashion and created her first piece when she was only 14 years old.

In 1999 she opened her studio in the Champs-Elysées district, Avenue Matignon. After custom-made for wealthy customers loving beautiful dresses, Liliana Casanova chosen in 2006 to devote herself entirely to what appeared to lack the most obvious way, lingerie couture, and will finally create her own line under her name.
